"I am a traveling engineer and use a company issued generic Dell laptop with 14" screen. Dell ProBook 6460b. Since I travel for weeks at a time I wanted a second monitor that was light and easy to travel with. I didn't like the idea of having to set up a little stand and I certainly didn't want to deal with plugging it in to a wall outlet.
Because of this I was really intrigued by the idea of having the monitor hinged to the back of the laptop and powered via usb. The installation of the hinge thing was pretty easy and the monitor can be removed from the mounting piece. …The screen is crisp and the colors are very good. It looks better than the screen on my laptop (which has the exact same resolution). " by Jace G from newegg.com “portable monitor 1302”
